Just Passing Through (Repeaters) is a series of loop tapes I was commissioned to do by Listen/Hear Gallery for display at the Garfield Park branch library in Indianapolis, Ind.

The following recordings are edits of said loop tapes going through their rotations. Tapes at the library are replaced every two weeks, so every two weeks a new edit will be uploaded to this page/album, until the exhibit comes down in June.

The loop tapes were recorded on a four track, which is then encased in an enclosure that allows only access to the headphone volume, record, play and stop controls. Visitors to the installation are invited to listen, as well as given suggestions as to how to record/add overdubs via a provided 1/8-inch jack on to an open channel on the four track machine.
